City Councilors

The Mile of History area is represented by city councilors from three different wards. Benefit Street serves as the border between Wards 2 and 12, and the southern end of Benefit is in Ward 1.

Ward 1: Seth Yurdin—seth@yurdin.com
Represents residents of Benefit Street from Power Street to Wickenden Street; the Fox Point area; the Jewelry district; and Downtown south of Exchange Terrace.

Ward 2: Helen Anthony—hanthony5th@gmail.com
Represents residents on the east side of Benefit Street from Olney to Angell and both sides of Benefit from Angell to Power. Benefit Street between Olney and Angell is a portion of the westerly border of Ward 2. The Ward also covers most of College Hill.

Ward 12: Katherine “Kat” Kerwin—kkerwin26@gmail.com
Represents residents on west side of Benefit Street from Olney to Angell. The west side of Benefit Street is the westerly border of Ward 12. Ward 12 also covers Capitol Hill, Smith Hill, and Downtown north of Exchange Terrace.
